Caring for lace and delicate lingerie
A few gentle habits keep lace, satin and fine elastics looking beautiful for longer.

The pieces you love most deserve a little extra care. Delicate fabrics such as lace, satin and mesh last far longer when they are washed and stored thoughtfully.
Wash gently
- Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent whenever you can.
- If you use a machine, fasten hooks, place pieces in a mesh laundry bag and choose a delicate, cold cycle.
- Avoid bleach and fabric softener, which can weaken fibres and elastics.
Dry flat, never hot
Gently press out water with a towel instead of wringing. Lay pieces flat or hang them by the band to dry in the shade. The heat of a dryer or strong sun can stretch elastics and fade colours.
Store with care
Keep moulded cups in their natural shape rather than folding one into the other, and give lace its own space in a drawer so it does not snag.
Rotate your favourites
Wearing the same bra every day gives elastics no time to recover. Rotating between two or three helps every piece keep its shape.
Always follow the care notes on each product, as fabrics vary.
